Ulrika & Gunilla met in high school in Trollhättan, and we are the founders of 8 Design Cashmere.

We both have an inner drive and find joy in doing business.

The foundation is built on strong relationships—with each other, our suppliers, and our customers.

The dream of starting something of our own has been alive for years. When Ulrika and her family lived in Asia for five years, that dream grew stronger. The strong relationships built during that time in Asia made taking the leap easier. Our combined experiences, along with a desire for change, led us to press the start button—and that’s how 8 Design Cashmere came to life.

Tired of the throwaway culture, the sustainable choice became obvious, and cashmere was the natural option. We are extremely selective about who gets to supply us, and the possibilities with this material are endless—it’s only our imagination that sets the limits. Our love for cashmere, our dedication, and our commitment to following our own path have shaped our brand, 8 Design Cashmere, which we are incredibly proud of.
